The DSK Affair, which has inspired a book that will soon be published by Cogito, will be adapted into a film by U.S. director Abel Ferrara (New Rose Hotel). Ferrara said that the main roles will be awarded to Gerard Depardieu and Isabelle Adjani.

The director said in an interview with Le Monde that his next film would focus on the case involving Dominique Strauss-Kahn, accused of attempted rape of a female employee of the Sofitel in Manhattan.

The main character will be played on the screen by Gerard Depardieu, while Isabelle Adjani will give her features to DSK's wife, Anne Sinclair. Abel Ferrara said : "This is a film about politics and sex with Depardieu and Adjani." The film will be shot in Paris, Washington and New York.
